The weekend & more

Submission day on weds was a mad rush but the best feeling I've had in the longest time.
Minus the fact that I think it's lame to base 80% of the grade on the report, I'm just really damn glad we are almost done.

The photos that follow were taken the night before submission, where we left for home only at around midnight.
These crack me up and just looking at them makes me miss these looney girls already.
Btw, don't be fooled by these few pics - we play hard but we work 10x harder. Right girls?

Az the perfectionist hard at work, Gwen catching the gossipy girls skiving

The grapevine reporter Nuulu & her no. 1 fan

Running away from the crazy woman

Crazy girls & me looking disgustingly fat

Crazy girls part II with me looking spastic

So, enough of F.Y.P. horrors, the weekend was packed & fulfilling.
I'm just glad that I have more time with my loved ones now, & I'm gonna damn well cherish it because I know times like these would be hard to come by once I'm all entangled in work.

Sat saw me spending 5 hours at the dance studio, followed by tea time with the parents & bro, & Mustafa to shop for some gym gear for mama.
Then it was back home & supper with the rest of the family.

Sun was spent at our ahem course.
I spent 85% of the time listening intently, 10% daydreaming productively & another 5% dozing off.
Some topics were really enlightening lah, but most are stuff you already know more or less.
We were asked to draw for each other in 3 min, how we envisioned our lives to be 3yrs from now, and this was what he drew for me. Enjoy...

I love you babe.
But please wait up for me when you walk k.

Untitled

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly without complexities or pride.
I love you because I know no other way then this.
So close that your hand, on my chest, is my hand.
So close, that when you close your eyes, I fall asleep.

Insanity all around

No. of days to F.Y.P submission: 3
Level of insanity among final yr peeps (on a scale of 1 to 5): 121

I seriously don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Now that we are nearing the closure of yet another chapter,
I think I've developed a love-hate relationship with this thing called F.Y.P.,
I'm sure we all have.

Albeit all the sweat, tears, MONEY, nightmares, PR-ing & what have you put into it,
I've learnt and matured so much through this ordeal.
No doubt I'm still the never-on-time, 'but' girl.
But I've become more patient, a better listener and have had the pleasure of impacting the lives of others.
These, together with the friendships I've built, is way more rewarding than media coverage. Haha.

Last week's 'finishing school' was somewhat a half-past-six closure for us.
I'm looking forward to the real deal next week over at Timbre.
But whatever the case, I know I'm gonna miss if not FYP, my crazy babes.
We must keep in touch and eat foyy graah hor.

Busy Sunday

Left home at 615am to send Mum to work, dropped her off at Woodlands MRT, saw the Tuck Lee ice van and asked for a name card... the Uncle must have thought i wanted to complain about his driving or something.. ha ha..

Went to Yishun shortly after and visited Auntie's shop to get Nasi Lemak for me and Shaz.
Bought 10 pratas with the intention to drop it off at Grandma's place in Yishun but she wasn't home..she's in KL. Had to drag my aunt who lives one floor down out of bed to open the door...sorry...

Picked Siti up from work at 3pm and headed to Marine Parade CC to drop off the registration for our marriage course and we had a late lunch at Parkway Parade and picked up a couple of classic dvds.

We then decided to hand out some birthday invites to Yana/Dannie, Joey/DD, Ish, Zayed/Aisha, Nisha/Aqbar and Mr. and Mrs Shafiq.

Met Shafiq's newborn for the first time... 3mths old Akifa Uzma.. hope i got the spelling right.
Chubby cheeks....hair same as her dad... ha ha...
Did i mention I'm a natural when it comes to babies...? Ha ha...thick skin.

Anyway, Mum told me my lobster climbed out of the tank and crawled its way to the kitchen...
bad lobster....

Now i am exhausted from all that driving...... sleep ah sleep

Belated wedding photos

Before he starts threatening to change the blog name to yeazid.blogspot.com again, let me just leave a post.

Ok let's do weddings (no, not ours).

You know that you are getting old when receiving wedding invites (in your name no less) starts becoming a norm. No doubt that the number of weddings that I have gone in "Yeazid+partner" situations far outnumbers "Siti+partner" ones. But hey, I'm not complaining - gives me a reason to believe that I'm still oh-so-youthful.

It's been 2 months since we went for Yana's beautiful wedding. And being the lazy ass that I am, I haven't been bothered to pester the friends for the pictures we took. But thanks to Facebook, I have some random ones.

Weewee, Zayyyed & me

Me, Harry & Dibzzzz

The crazy girls trying to catch confetti-throwing on film

The pimp & me

Random indeed. Looking forward to seeing fellow poly mates at Sylvia's wedding tomorrow!

What's Good and Leap Years

Walked into the "What's Good" store while waiting for Siti and just my luck...
Got the last piece and there goes my $89.
The shopkeeper asked where i got my know1edge jacket from though...
KarmaLoop of coz....all thanks to Ihzat.
While waiting for the movie "Leap Years" we managed to fool around for a bit with the mobile camera. Anyway, the movie was good for a local production. Since Siti wanted to watch it...what the heck...but tomorrow...10000BC here i come...

More good shit

Wake up your bloody idea...

I'm not going to mention names, you know who you are...
some peeps aren't tired of life being fucked up...they're used to it.

how much more carefree can you get?

no drive
no purpose
no discipline
no direction
no conscience
no responsibility

wake up your bloody idea.
how can you wake up each day, look in the mirror and see that theres nothing wrong?

better check yourself before you wreck yourself.
